Jill was born to Jacque Waggoner and Jerry Waggoner, and she grew up in the center of Attica, where they lived for more than a decade.

Career

Like every couple’s engagement, Kelly surprised Jill by taking her to one of their favorite restaurants, Ilio DePaolo’s restaurant in Blasdell.

Съемки давались Келли непросто. Так, в ходе натурных съемок в Крыму она пришла в ужас от отсутствия удобств на площадке и туалета на улице. Шоферу пришлось возить актрису в Феодосию. Не понравилась МакГрилл и русская еда: она питалась не на площадке с остальными актерами, а в ресторане при ялтинской гостинице «Интурист». Когда снимали американские эпизоды, Келли угощала российских коллег привычными для себя гамбургерами и картошкой фри.

По сценарию Келли МакГрилл и Дмитрию Харатьяну предстояло изобразить в кадре страстный поцелуй. Но им это долго не удавалось. В какой-то момент Леонид Гайдай сам подошел к американской актрисе и поцеловал ее взасос. Позже члены киногруппы подшучивали над Харатьяном: его учил целоваться сам Леонид Гайдай.

Картина Леонида Гайдая стала единственной работой Келли МакГрилл в большом кино. Когда она вернулась на родину, то посвятила себя мужу и семье. Супруг запрещал актрисе общаться с журналистами.
