Justin Hartley admits he struggles with his daughter, Isabella, getting older.
Isabella is Justin’s only child, and the actor seemingly has no problem with that. He and his daughter are often joined at the hip, as Isabella has been his plus-one at multiple red-carpet events, and he also doesn’t mind gushing about his daughter on social media
On Isabella’s 17th birthday in June 2021, Justin celebrated the day on his Instagram account and described her as a “kind and beautiful angel,” followed by stating he was “so very proud” of her.
Justin may be proud of Isabella’s success, but the father of one admits it’s been difficult watching his baby girl become an adult. In June 2022, Isabella turned 18, and she began attending college several months later.

Isabella’s move to college was something Justin knew would come eventually, but he admittedly faced some difficulties with her leaving the nest.
“It’s tough when they leave,” Justin says in a clip from The Jennifer Hudson Show in November 2022. “You think you’re ready for it because as they get older, they gain independence, and they’re gone a lot anyway. They have their own friends and their own interests, and you can go see them.”

Justin filed for divorce in November 2019 citing «irreconcilable differences», although he listed the date of their separation as July. Chrishell, however, cited the date of their separation as November, when Justin filed. They had attended a slew of public events together from July to November, suggesting that their marriage was not on the rocks.
Documents also show that the actress is seeking spousal support and asking her estranged husband to pay for her lawyer’s fees, which Justin is contending.

Quinn—Stause’s of-an-on rival on the show—told Page Six in July, «We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while. “We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.”

In the month prior to Selling Sunset season 3 premiering, Stause’s co-star Quinn spoke to Page Six about Hartley and Stause’s divorce. «We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while,» Quinn told the outlet. «We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.» She also spoke about why Selling Sunset viewers never saw Hartley on the hit Netflix show. «I think…the understanding that they had is that he wanted to be totally private in regards to Selling Sunset, which she respected,» Quinn recalled. «So, we’re never going to see him on the show, and we’re never going to see her talk about him, and I really don’t think there’s ever any resolve unfortunately.»
Stause, who has feuded with Quinn before, refuted her co-star’s account of the divorce on Twitter. She tweeted, «I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce. Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part.» Stause added, «It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. A month after the news broke, Stause’s co-star Heather Rae Young and her now-fiancé Tarek El Moussa spoke to Us Weekly about the surprise divorce. “It‘s really hard to hear that, especially someone who is a good friend of mine,” Young told the outlet. “And, you know, Justin and her were a great couple…It’s sad.” Young went on to say that while she and Stause hadn’t spoken much since, she would be supportive of her friend. “I’m mainly just giving her space. Who is Chrishell dating now?
Chrishell took some time off from dating after breaking up with Jason Oppenheim, she told Women’s Health in February of 2022. Obviously, when she did decide to dive in, it was for keeps.
Her love affair with boss Jason Oppenheim taught her to ditch her Cinderella fantasies and embrace relationships for what they are meant to be. “My last relationship was such a beautiful relationship in every sense, except for the fact that we just want different things. There is still a lot of love there,” Chrishell said in her interview with WH.
“I had an old school way of thinking that if you didn’t ride off into the sunset, the relationship was a failure,” she said. “And the relationship with Jason changed my thinking.”
Apparently, the two met while filming a music video: «It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it’s about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let’s do that,» Chrishell added.
In an Instagram post, G Flip showed some BTS of Chrishell giving them a new thigh tattoo in honor of their music video for «Get Me Outta Here», which dropped a year ago.
«Found my new calling. Might open up a new shop,» Chrishell commented.
And things moved fast. They moved in to Chrishell’s home together, started going on baecations, and even visited G Flip’s native Australia. Then, on May 10, 2023, Chrishell posted a reel that showed some BTS from their relationship, including what appeared to be a wedding photo. Her co-stars obviously flipped out in the comments.
Who is Justin Hartley dating?
The actor is currently dating his former The Young and the Restless co-star, Sofia Pernas. Chrishell also starred on the soap and the two ladies were friendly on social media, often commenting on each other’s posts.

In a Valentine’s Day post Justin had written for Chrishell, Sofia replied: «Yes!!!» Chrishell also wished Sofia a happy birthday, replying to one of her photos: «You are the absolute CUTEST!!!! Happy birthdayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!»
The pair appear to have started dating in early 2020, shortly after Justin filed for divorce. While the lovebirds are yet to share pictures with each other on Instagram, Sofia has uploaded a Story of what appeared to be her boyfriend’s hand wrapped around a cigar and a drink.

Television Career
Hartley began his acting career on the soap opera «Passions» in 2002, playing the character Fox Crane. After leaving the show in 2006, he began playing billionaire Oliver Queen and his alter ego Green Arrow on the CW superhero series «Smallville,» then in its sixth season. Hartley’s role was a recurring one for seasons six and seven before becoming a main role for the final three seasons of «Smallville.» Meanwhile, he starred in the television film «MegaFault» and had guest roles on such shows as «CSI: NY,» «Cold Case,» and «Chuck.» Following the end of «Smallville» in 2011, Hartley starred opposite Mamie Gummer on the short-lived CW series «Emily Owens, M.D.,» which ran from late 2012 to early 2013. Next, he played the recurring role of Patrick Osbourne in the third season of the ABC series «Revenge.» Hartley went on to begin two significant roles in 2014, on the soap operas «Mistresses» and «The Young and the Restless.» He played the recurring part of Scott Trosman on the former and the main role of Adam Newman on the latter show; he left both in 2016.
Hartley landed his biggest television role yet in 2016: Kevin Pearson on the NBC family drama series «This is Us.» Also starring Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Mandy Moore, and Chris Sullivan, among many others, the show followed the lives and families of two parents and their three children across many different time frames. «This is Us» was a big hit, running for six seasons through 2022 and earning many awards and nominations. With the cast of the show, Hartley shared two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. His next main role after «This is Us» was on the CBS action series «Tracker,» which premiered in early 2024. On the show, Hartley plays Colter Shaw, a survivalist who travels the United States solving mysteries for both citizens and law enforcement. Other stars of the show include Robin Weigert and Abby McEnany.

Justin Hartley admits he struggles with his daughter, Isabella, getting older.
Isabella is Justin’s only child, and the actor seemingly has no problem with that. He and his daughter are often joined at the hip, as Isabella has been his plus-one at multiple red carpet events, and he also doesn’t mind gushing about his daughter on social media
On Isabella’s 17th birthday in June 2021, Justin celebrated the day on his Instagram account and described her as a “kind and beautiful angel,” followed by stating he was “so very proud» of her.
Justin may be proud of Isabella’s success, but the father of one admits it’s been difficult watching his baby girl become an adult. In June 2022, Isabella turned 18, and she began attending college several months later.

Isabella’s move to college was something Justin knew would come eventually, but he admittedly faced some difficulties with her leaving the nest.
“It’s tough when they leave,” Justin says in a clip from The Jennifer Hudson Show in November 2022. “You think you’re ready for it because as they get older, they gain independence, and they’re gone a lot anyway. They have their own friends and their own interests, and you can go see them.”

The Passions star continued saying he and Isabella chat via text now, which he says “is normal, but I hate it.” However, Justin said one benefit of Isabella living her own life is he and Sofia are now free to “party” as much as they want.

A source told E! News that rumors Hartley cheated on Stause were «100 percent false.» The insider added, «Chrishell knew they were having problems in their marriage. They were fighting for months before Justin filed, but she didn’t think he would actually end their marriage. They always brushed their problems under the rug.» The source said Stause «speculates a lot about what truly happened between them.»
That same day, Hartley’s first ex-wife Lindsay appeared to defend her husband on Instagram. She wrote, in part, «Today, I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being exemplification of a solid man but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter,» she wrote in part. «Simply put; for being family. We derive our own opinion of people by experiencing life and time together, and we do our best to hold dear the ones that maintain consistent kindness, love and generosity.»
Stause seemingly addressed the post on her Instagram Stories, writing an inspirational quote. «Be the woman who fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world it was crooked,” the quote read. She added, “Women who build each other up are my tribe.»
Sources told Us Weekly that Hartley’s circle is glad Stause is no longer involved. “Justin’s friends are glad that Chrishell is no longer in his life and that he can move on,” a source told the outlet. “He is doing well right now, and while it’s been disappointing that he is being dragged into storylines on reality TV, he knew that he should expect this.” The insider added, “Justin is a great, stand-up guy, and he wants to move on with his life in a classy way.”
What did Jason and Chrishell say about their breakup?
The two took to Instagram to share their thoughts with everyone.
«Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward,» Chrishell wrote in an IG caption. «And thank you Jason for the most incredible relationship and for consistently being honest with me even when it hurts,» she finished.
Jason’s own post read: «While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another. She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.»
«While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for one another,» he continued. «Chrishell is an exceptional human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.»
Then, during the Selling Sunset reunion, the pair got even more candid about why things ended. «This is not the time of my life where I want to have a family,» Jason explained. He also said Chrishell is «the love of my life» and that he thinks he might always regret breaking up with her (gasp!).
